The One-Stop Place for World of Warcraft Gnome Lore.

This project is an attempt at gathering all World of Warcraft gnome lore in one concentrated place as well as draw some conclusions and make some standards based on the existing information. So little is known about gnomes and their history that it can be difficult to truly immerse oneself as a gnome character, especially on roleplay realms. This wiki aims to act as a reference point for anyone who wants to confidently play as a gnome.

Most of the sources will link to Wowpedia, the community-run lore forum, which in turn has more specific sources cited. In the case of gnome lore, so much is unstated that sometimes non-canon sources need to be used in the absence of any credible sources. For example the Warcraft RPG will be cited a few times even though this material is not technically canon. The philosophy here is that some source is better than no source and no information.
